I do my paintings on pure silk by using silk dyes. I am using silk as my fundemental material because I find it very precious form of textile as it is obtained from the protein fiber which is produced by the silk insect larvae to form cocoons. Silk larvae pays big price, its life and never completes  life cycle to become a butterfly to fly freely.

My work requires high accuracy ,sensivity and delicacy like holding the wings of a butterfly. I must feel in my soul and reflect the agony of silk larvae in the boiling water, its scream and rebel against despair and death.

I feel like my works must be the symbol and reflection of this big sacrifice by the silk insects.
